I get asked a lot about what motivates me. Well, it’s a lot of things, but one of the biggest motivators has always been books. Also, I’m huge on the environment and energy I allow into my life and space.

For me, It’s so strange that as soon as we try something new, we always seem to think that we need to go to college or start a new course. However, books are some of the cheapest resources that are available. I read books for many different reasons. Most importantly, I read them to relax at the end of a long day. Or even to start my day on the right note. Also, to educate me. Equally, to expand my vocabulary. Books are how I started my journey and will remain an essential part of my life.

I’ll be posting a couple of books that helped me in the process. Learned about Money, my financial well my well-being around cooking.

Happy reading, and may your mind grow and your Money flow!

My Top Books To Elevate Your Mindset

Book One is The Power of Vulnerability: Teachings of Authenticity, Connection, and Courage

Firstly, let me start by saying I love this book. Without a doubt, this one will most definitely stay in my library. Brown is funny and thought-provoking. As a result of reading this book, she has made me rethink my shame regarding Money. It’s one of those books that you will be getting nuggets from continuously. Brené Brown is fearless in cutting through our normal tendencies and behaviours to show how we’ve become wired the way we are, how normal it is and how to ease off the gas pedal to allow ourselves to open up. So, admittedly, I love this book.

The Miracle Morning: The 6 Habits that will transform your life before 8 am.

This book talks about something that I have always suspected. Namely, if you start your morning with the proper routine, you will have the most productive days. I find it’s a positive way to give myself some me-time before the kids wake up. This is something you will see me reference a lot on my Instagram as I practice it daily. Walk the walk!

Atomic Habits

No self-respecting well-being book list would be complete without this book, Atomic Habits. Part of why we don’t achieve things is because we ignore the habits necessary to get there. Simply put, we focus on the goal and the result. Unfortunately, this alone isn’t enough to keep you motivated. James Clear has transformed the way I think here. Setting up daily habits and focusing on how they improve your life will get you to the end game.

Happy Money is one of those books that leaves you thinking and questioning your whole life. I love Japanese culture, and this book tells me why. This book reinforced my belief that Money is more than financials; the emotions and the psychology connected to Money is just as important. It reminded me that a positive mindset is the first step in any journey.

The Millionaire Next Door

As I write this, I need to listen to this audiobook again; it is brilliant and fascinating. It shows you the side of life you may not usually see; those who appear wealthy may not be as they seem and visa versa. It’s not a book which taught me how to manage money, but it showed me the importance of perspective.

You Are a Badass at Making Money

I have mixed feelings about this book. As a result, I’ve taken what I needed and moved on. This book helped me remove my blocks around Money and be more daring with what I want. It describes the mentality you need to stop fearing and stressing about Money. I found it quite light-hearted and funny, with some valuable tips.

This book is not just a real-life account of survival real-life; it’s more than that. I found this book thanks to Oprah. First and foremost, it’s an efficient book to teach you to recognise harmful behaviours and how to heal from them. Second, I found it to be inspirational and if I’m honest. It just makes me happy!
